Today's Announcements 5/19/2022
POSITIVE AFFIRMATION OF THE DAY "Once I Choose hope anything's possible."
May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month - A celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. The month of May was chosen to commemorate the history, heritage, and contributions of this group for a few reasons. May is the month immigration of the first Japanese to the United States occurred (May 7th, 1843), and is the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad (May 10th, 1869) - and the majority of the workers who laid the tracks were Chinese immigrants. So we celebrate Asian Pacific Islander month in May - we will do so with a quote each day attributed to an Asian Pacific Islander.
"Success isn't about the end result, it's about what you learn along the way." - Vera Wang

- A reminder around Cellphones/earbuds/headphones - Once school is in session these items are not to be visible or utilized. Let's give the screen a rest and engage our minds. We will confiscate these items if you are NOT doing the right thing.
- During lunch all students are again reminded that weather inside, outside, in the auditorium, please discard your garbage - wrappers, cartons, trash etc. It is imperative that you are cleaning up after yourself. We do not have a slob culture in our school and we aren't starting one.
